WALL-E doesn’t look the slightest bit out of place in the nuclear-ravaged world of Fallout 3. He reminds me of the Claptrap CL4P-TP General Purpose Robots in Borderlands, which also has its fair share of desolate postapocalyptic landscapes.
Hit the jump for a surprise twist.
A more powerful association, however, is the one with Zax from Benji, Zax & the Alien Prince. Now he would have looked all kinds out of place in Fallout 3. But maybe that’s just because he looks out of place in general.
Benji on the other hand would have felt right at home, I reckon. He’s a clever little mutt capable of finding his way through any pile of rubbish, radioactive or not. On reflection, wasn’t the whole series centered around Benji finding his way through some pile of rubbish or another?
I have no idea how well Prince Yubi would have fared among the mutants. He’d probably have gotten lost or kidnapped, or something and it would have been Benji to the rescue as always.
While we are on the topic, let me note that I always liked Zord better than Zax even though he was evil.
