Gamerztech or why is it good to have gamer buddies online
I recently joined a social media network for gamers, called gamerztech, and frankly was not sure exactly what to do there. The creators of the website say it is meant to be like Facebook for gamers and they are right — it is. So I was wondering why I did need another Facebook-like account (God knows I’ve got too many of those). I got my answer soon after I joined — gamer buddies.
Almost all of my friends are active gamers and I can share much of my gaming experiences with them. However, one can never have enough people to share a passion with, or at least I think so.
A recent gamerztech-based comment exchange cemented that opinion. I am desperately addicted to Mass Effect 2 and cannot get enough of the game. I am talking and thinking of it constantly and was afraid I am becoming some kind of ME2 freak, because I have played it through three times and now am playing it for the fourth time. So, I went on gamerztech and sort of complained that I am stuck in a loop of constant ME 2 replay. I was very positively surprised of the warm comments I’ve got from fans of the game, telling me “it’s a good place to be stuck” and saying the game is one of the best RPGs for Xbox 360. I was literally screaming for joy. Definitely feel better now, knowing that somewhere other people are so wonderfully “stuck” as well
Was actually wondering what other networks for gamers there are (have heard about Playfire and Raptr) but still haven’t joined. Well, Raptr I’ve tried, maybe should revisit it, it’s like Twitter for gamers.
